And yet Exodus 20:16 (Thou shalt not bear false witness) Proverbs 12:22 (Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord) and Revelation 21:8 (All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone) amongst others make it quite clear God does not approve of lying.

It’d be interesting to know how you reconcile this apparent contradiction.
