Helping Your Church Grow In Spiritual Maturity
When we ‘give our lives to Christ’ we don’t just give him our past sins, we actually die to the old Βίος (Bios) life in order to receive the everlasting Ζωή (Zoe) life!
The old way Pastors used to brag was how many people I have in my church (newsflash – it’s not yours). The new way in the circles I move in is ‘how many churches I’ve planted….’
But what if the true measure of success in ministry isn’t about numbers or achievements?
Heaven’s desire and decree is for 2025 to be a year of EXPANSION as the Lord is calling us to stretch wider, dig deeper, and expand beyond what we have yet experienced or ever imagined.
Here’s how I want this vision to inspire and shape my own leadership in 2025 and I invite you to consider it too.
Church is not a place you go; it’s a people you belong to and a mission you live out.
This isn’t about what you aspire to do; it’s about what matters so much you’ll perspire to get it done.
If we love in the truth,
And are faithful to one another in the truth
And walk together in the truth
We will work together for the truth.
Every time someone mentions a name to me, I put them on a matrix of character and competence. Can you be trusted?

Self evaluate – How are you doing in these 5 vital areas uncovered in his Doctoral research?
Including – God thinks of sport, how the church can connect with people well through it, how vital the church is for elite professionals, the highs and lows of triumph and defeat and how to manage both, the recent Olympics where so many athletes went very public with their faith. This is an incredibly encouraging and insightful interview and you don’t need to be a sports pro or armchair pundit to get a lot from listening!
How can we navigate the challenges of daily life while staying focused on God’s divine purpose? That’s where the B.I.O. concept comes in—a simple yet powerful framework that can guide us on our spiritual journey and help us lead others to do the same.
